Ick. I dislike old posts. It gets super old seeing them.And no worries, it wasn't like i was on Fall Break THAT long. Lots of things have happened since then.Things like......blessings and more blessings-aka gifts,(no complaining on that one there, Christmas time is a lovely time to be a teacher).Had a superb vacation.  Now we're gettin back the swing of things and the hustle and rustle of january..Minus the hustle and rustle part. The weather is really confusing the issue too. Not trying to be a dripping faucet here but hopefully we will at least get one snow or ice day this year.I think that would be nifty!  

 School has been going pretty swiftly. Although I feel as if i just run around the classroom all the time with this many kids. It amazes me how you can love each and every one in an entirely different way...Sounds just a           L-I-T-T-L-E  momish, but oh well. (no offense to the mothers, without you- we wouldn't be where we are today..ok so we pretty much wouldn't be here).

 Last year this time- i was camped out in another state for about 6 weeks. Amazing how time flies. I must admit a slight pang of jealousy stabs my heart every once in a while for all the people who are carefree and going with the wind while being able to take off of their job for things of such. Although the peace of being in God's will and having consistency in your life is a good feeling too. So, i shall be here waiting on my company to come visit me and sneaking in wk. end trips every now and again. Life is still good. :)

 Since it seems that I'm SOO good at getting like 5 paragraphs in a post about every time i do get around to posting, I'm going to make my exit.   So I'm feeling foul. Simply for the fact that I had a post typed up and BAM...go  ahead and freeze PC. *sigh* Stupid thing.

 So I'm still alive and well..Aside for a slight case of aching bones...Which I actually hesitate to admit...Kind of embarrassing. Had a superbly fun wk. end though...Went away on a VERY short trip. "For love of the Game" (ok add friends to that.)

 So I refuse to apologize for not posting. I owe you little people nothing...However, LOTS has happened since I last posted. Flew to Kansas and flew home. Had a very bonding family time. My aunt and uncle pretty much put down the red carpet for us. Got to hit the water park, play some HOT rook games,  (I strongly dislike arrogant males that win...BOO little bro, BOO dad, and BOO uncle) and we had some huffin' good food. I  also have spent two weekends at home by myself..I mean i rather enjoyed myself..BUT never mind that I missed out on cool family trips. Feeling the whine here? Actually,  I felt it was right because of school, so hello to happy peaceful feeling.Life is still good. 

 So school is basically my life. Although since I'm an all American young person I still try to smoosh in hanging out and being with my friends and family.My night time schedule has really changed though..No late nights for me. I have a deep love for Friday Nights once again. Although I always have had a thing for them.

 I am really enjoying myself though... Don't get me wrong...I come home d-r-a-i-n-e-d. It's a happy kind of drained though usually. It's not all roses but I do feel satisfied.The kids in my classroom inspire me with their insane energy. I have 11 kids till lunch, and 7 after. I also have brilliant little kids. After asking for requests to sing in chapel, one of my cute K5 girls raised her hand and said  "Holy, Holy, Holy."  Hello, when I was a child I was still in the stage where "I am a C, I am a C-H"  was cool.  Things have really changed.My kids refer to stuff as "SWEEEEET!" and "THAT ROCKS!" The other day one of the boys asked me..."Miss Veronica, did you forget about the TP?" I couldn't figure out exactly what he meant until in the course of the conversation I realized he got TP mixed up with P.E.(phys. ed.) Not a dull moment. I could almost write a book. Almost being the key word. Quite frankly, my classroom "ROCKS!"  

       Cheers to these two for our little reunion this last wk. end.They are LOLing in this picture and thats why I like it. Two of my favorite people.                                         

 And I got to travel all the way to OH with this girl. Beat her in two ABC games, thumb war, and rock paper scissors. Go me...Ok so she beat me some too. Welcome home kiddo..Its great having you home...

    Sheer tiredness screams to get my tail to bed and avoid posting...BUT, since my dear friend bethany chose to post for  me earlier and since I am quite tired of seeing somebody else's writing on MY site....I'm fixin it.

   Nice try. I don't think so.  Even though 851 days is a big pile up. Beat me.

 Ok so just an annoying mesage here. For anybody who has been tryin to get  ahold of me. Be frustrated. My cell phone is done, buried, gone, fried, zero, nada, zilch. You get the idea. Talk about ANNOYING. Grrr.... Addictions are terrible. Hopefully I'll get another one in the next few days, but if I don't reply to your txts.."This is why, This is why, This is why I'm not."  

  So guess what my current favorite cd is?! (pretty sure you'll never guess). Ok, so i FINALLY got my cd back from HBS. And VERY sure we don't sound extremely "tight" but since it brings back such fond memories...Listen to it I do. Go me. And I've also looked at my yearbook about forty-five hundred times. Okaaay so maybe a slight exaggeration.

 So my life goes on. Normal stuff. But i feel so very spoiled to be living normal. My heart aches for all the hurting people. So many people's lives changed in the last week. I feel so small. I somtimes wish I could do something big in times like these. Then i remember that prayer is huge, but ONLY because of the huge God we serve. So pray I must.

ok, so just a reminder:  Father's Day on Sunday. Feeling pleased I remembered it, so I just had to act like I'm all that AND more by reminding yall about it. Pretty sure the latest issue of GOLF magazine and an endearing card is rather small but HEY, i do what i can. he he. (that was for donna)

   Xanga Lock. I’m officially addressing the issue. Ok so I figure its not a big deal who  visits my site but I’m tired of the snoops who don’t have xanga sites hungrily gleaning the lame cyber world for juicy things to talk about. Not that I put juicy stuff on here in the first place. Sheesh, you’ll catch me doing no such thing… but for the gossip stalkers out there - talk to the lock.  Apologies to the innocent.

     So doesn’t it just annoy you when something random happens but it doesn’t happen as  “cool” as you wish it would’ve happened.  Get this…..So I think I feel something on my foot and all of a sudden -*pang*- I feel this sting/pain project into my toe….I look down and there is this centipede-millipede wormo thingamabob that  bit me! The thing was a beast. It took me awhile to kill it because it was such an odd creature and wouldn’t die. GRRRR!! I saved the body just in case it was in some relation to the scorpion and I would have to be rushed into the ER because my foot had turned blue from poison. It was a very annoying experience. The only bummer is I wish I would have been doing something heroic. What a rip.

    So I got to mow today…One of the most relaxing spring/summer things to do  …... HA! Did you ever notice how fun it is to run over ant hills with a mower? POOF – a big cloud of red dust comes out. I personally think its amusing.

    GOAL OF WEEK: beat my brother in a one on one game of basketball…hear me growl.
